It was the first time that Scandinavian Outdoor Group (SOG) arranged a Scandinavian Village in Salt Lake City. It was very appreciated and a lot of visitors and 2 evenings we had Scandinavian party with Scandinavian food and good beer. We presented for the first time in US Walkstool Comfort 75 cm/30in and Walkstool Basic models with grey legs and black seat. We are not selling Walkstool via Cabelas and are hoping to get some of the other big distributors for Outdoor.

We have now established us as number one for 3 legged stools within the hunting and outdoor area. Same new models were presented as in Salt Lake City.

It was the 4th time we exhibit at Photokina and the best one. Now we see that we have been totally accepted amongst professional photographers and distributors and that we have a very strong trade mark with Walkstool (WS) as the best one in the world.
  All professional photographers and mostly sport photographers have great problem with their knees (and in many times also with backs) since they are working a lot in low position which puts pressure on their knees. More and more studio photographers are also using WS, both indoors and outdoors for family portrait and then having different models of WS.
  We will also see expansion for WS for bird watchers and astronomers.
  We got 5 new distributors directly at Photokina and more will come before end of 2008. Finally we noticed that many photographers liked new model WS Comfort 75 cm/30in. Many sport photographers will use it to both lean against in high position and to sit in low position which gives app the same height (45 cm/18in) as WS Comfort 45 cm/ 18in but nicer to sit on due to seat size XXL instead of L.

We had a very good show and a lot of attention in Scandinavian Village arranged by us members of Scandinavian Outdoor Group – SOG.
  We presented for the first time our new model Walkstool (WS) Comfort 75 cm/30 in that will not only attract tall people but also people with problem with back and/or disc.
  We also exposed our new WS Basic models with grey upper- and lower legs and black seat. Main impression was that they looks much more sober than our green ones.
  Although WS Basic is of high quality, people do feel difference compared with sitting on WS Comfort models. Biggest difference is bigger seat size, nicer material to sit on and big rubber feet and that WS Comfort models takes much more weight.
  Outdoor is now our biggest sector for WS and we will during coming year have more distributors around the world.

During summer 2008 we will start offering a new Walkstool model, Walkstool Comfort 75 cm/30in which will have seat size XXL as Walkstool Comfort 65 cm/26in. This is due to a demand from hunters, tall people and people with back problem that sometimes prefer to have something higher to lean against due to problems rising up from a sitting position.

We have recently made a shooting when putting a Volvo V50 on top of Walkstool. Please see video clips.

For Winter OR show and Summer Outdoor Retailer show in Salt Lake City and Shot show in Las Vegas, our distributor SMG Tactical will be the Exhibitor exposing Walkstool. For PMA in Las Vegas it will be our distributor BKA - Brandess Kalt Aetna Group that will expose Walkstool since they are distributor nation wide for photo sector.

We helped our US distributor nation wide for outdoor/ military forces/law enforcement SMG Tactical to expose Walkstool. We got a very good attention and SMG will have many new customers within some months. That will include individual outdoor stores, outdoor chains, big mail order catalogues/internet sales and military forces. We were most surprised by the big number of outdoor stores that said Walkstool would fit perfect for the people using kayaks and canoes.

There will be 5 models of Walkstool (WS). As before WS Basic 50 cm/20 in and WS Basic 60 cm / 24 in. Then there will be WS Comfort 45 cm / 18 in, WS Comfort 55 cm / 22 in and finally WS Comfort 65 cm / 26 in. Difference between these WS Comfort models and the older ones are stronger lower legs, a black bag to carry WS and WS Comfort 55/22 have seat size XL and WS Comfort 65/26 seat size XXL compared with L before. We have now without any question the best 3 legged stools in the world and with WS Comfort 65/26 and WS Comfort 55/22 as the king and the queen on the market.

Our belief is that WS Comfort 55/22 will be the number one on the market and that model together with WS Comfort 65/26 will also attract many big people that need something comfortable and with high quality to sit on.

Instructions to lock lower legs of Walkstool, Swedish models with bigger rubber feet (not Walkstool Basic models)

Some customers have e-mailed us asking how to lock lower legs. We have the information on our FAQ and will include it in coming version of blue leaflet but we also give info here:
To lock the lower legs when not using Walkstool, twist the legs so they are locked by the rubber feet being close together. To use Walkstool, do the opposite and you unlock the lower legs.

This was the 3rd time (also 2002 and 2004) that we attended Photokina as exhibitor. We demonstrated our 5 new models of Walkstool (see below under New models of Walkstool and Outdoor 2006 in Friedrichshafen about new models).

We got a very, very good attention at Photokina from visitors from all over the world. Our main target was to get new distributors for professional photographers, bird watchers and astronomers. Distributors from 28 different countries told us they were interested in selling Walkstool.

We expect that within some months we will be represented in 10-20 new countries for this categories of customers. Honestly speaking we were surprised with the great interest in Walkstool although we know from before that mentioned categories of potential users will have great use of a product like Walkstool. Visitors appreciated the bigger seat sizes and pouch that comes with each of the 3 Swedish models.

At Outdoor 2006 in Friedrichshafen we launched a new model program with 5 models of Walkstool that we start to introduce in September 2006. These will replace some of the existing 7 models at the end of this year. Some of our distributors will continue with existing models until the end of this year or beginning of 2007 while some others will start selling new models at autumn. New distributors will also start with new models. For further information about the new models, please look at the bottom of the page "Product data" on this website.

This was the 5th time we attended the Outdoor exhibition in Friedrichshafen. We presented a new model program consisting of 5 models compared to 7 models before. We will start changing models in September 2006 and at the end of this year we will remove Walkstool Luxe 50 cm/20in and 60 cm/24in from our model program.

We will stay with existing Walkstool Basic 50 and 60 and we will also continue with Walkstool Comfort 45 cm/18in, 55 cm/22in and 65 cm/25in but with bigger seat sizes on the last two models. This gives a more comprehendable model program of the 3 models produced in Sweden; the higher the sitting height, the bigger the seat size. Walkstool Comfort 65 cm/26in will have the same seat size (XXL) as existing Luxe models. Walkstool Comfort 45 cm/18in will have the same seat size as now (L) and Walkstool Comfort 55 cm/22in will have a seat size (XL) in between. By this change it will be enough with 5 models; three produced in Sweden and two produced in China. The Swedish Comfort models will also have a pouch (bag) for carriage and storage of Walkstool, and on top of this the lower legs are made even stronger than before.

For more information, please look at end of "Product Data" on this website. The reaction from our visitors was that it´s enough and more logical to have 5 models. Well appreciated was also the pouch (bag) to carry Walkstool. We are now well known as producer of the best three legged stool in the world and hopefully we will be as successful in the outdoor sector as we are in the hunting sector.

This was the 6th time we attended this exhibition for professional workers. Now we begin to see that people fully start to understand the importance of using a product like Walkstool when working in low position to reduce pressure on knees, backs and joints.

We will get some new distributors around the world.

Our 7 new models of Walkstool was very appreciated and especially models Walkstool Comfort with bigger seat size and feet and the models Walkstool Comfort 45 cm/18in and Walkstool Comfort 55 cm/22in is the best models to use for professional users.

We now see the trend that people are talking more about prevention and not only rehabilitation and that coming legislation in many countries will force employers to invest in prevention. Walkstool will in that perspective have a good chance to attract professional users working from time to time in low position.

This was also the 6th time we attended this exhibition for hunting.

We have now with our new 7 models of Walkstool established us as the leading supplier of 3-legged stools for hunters. No one have the same range with big seat sizes, big rubber feet and telescopic legs.

Now we have to establish Walkstool into some countries that still are not selling Walkstool to hunters.

What we especially noticed was interest to introduce Walkstool into military forces and law enforcement. Military forces to use it both when being on guard and when working with their weapon or ammunition and then to sit on Walkstool in low position without folding out the lower legs. For polices et c to use when they are standing on guard outdoors or in other situation when it´s better to sit and be fresh in the legs. We all know how it can feel it the legs after only standing for half an hour.

Many of these people have to be alert very quickly when something happens and then it´s good with fresh legs.

At Outdoor 2005 we exposed for the first time all 7 new models of Walkstool on an event in the outdoor segment. We got a very positive response both regarding the 5 Swedish models Luxe and Comfort with bigger seat sizes and bigger rubber feet and also for the cheaper models Basic that we are producing in China.

By this new model program we will attract new customer groups both with existing distributors as well as new distributors in countries that have not enough demand only for Swedish models.

The reaction from visitors at our stand were that we now have enough models for them to only deal with us when they want to sell 3-legged stools and that we without any questions have the best models on the market.

For the first time we demonstrated all new models of Walkstool. The reaction was very positive, both regarding the new 5 Swedish models and the coming 2 models from China with lower prices.

Mostly appreciated was the bigger seat sizes and then the bigger feet. Everyone told us that we now have found the perfect 3-leg stool regarding outstanding sitting comfort.

People testing our 2 Luxe versions called them the King and the Queen with a comfort that could be compared with your favourite armchair. We are convinced that the new model program will be a hit on the market and open up for people that before couldn´t dream of buying a 3-leg stool.

After extensive testing we have decided to introduce new seat sizes 35 cm/14in (36% bigger) and 40 cm/16in (78% bigger). We call them model Comfort and Luxe and they will also have bigger feet. We produce in Sweden 5 new models that will replace existing 2 models during spring 2005. For further information, please click here..

Many people that have tested the new models said that they preferred seat size Luxe since it´s "comfortable as an armchair". This size will hopefully attract new customer groups that normally would never buy an ordinary 3-leg stool.

We have made tests on laboratory stating WS Comfort 45, 55 and 65 take pressure 290 kg, 298 and 384 kg and WS Luxe 50 and 60 take pressure 234 kg and 309 kg.

We have another project to produce cheaper versions that will be called Walkstool Basic. It will be produced in China under our supervision and seat size Medium in polyester material (18% bigger than existing seat). If you want to be a distributor, please contact us.

As last year we exhibited together with Scandinavian Outdoor Group (SOG) at Outdoor 2003 in Friedrichshafen. SOG is a cooperation of Swedish well known trade marks within the outdoor sector. This was the second year we participated and we notice that the appreciation for Walkstool as a useful outdoor product is increasing, as well as the awareness of the product. Still it will take some more years to find enough distributors for this sector.

End of 2001 we started a project to construct two automatic machines to assembly Walkstool. One machine is for the upper legs and one for the lower legs. By this we reduce the manual work in the assembly of Walkstool. We also increase the capacity.
The machines are now in use and we are intensively testing both machines to do necessary adjustments having them work the way we want. The capacity of the machines are app 400 000-500 000 Walkstool/year for one work shift.

As previous years we will exhibit with Walkstool at Practical World 2003 (formerly known as "Eisenwarenmesse") in Cologne, Germany. We exhibited with Walkstool at Photokina 2002 in Cologne, 25 September to 2 October. The interest amongst professional photographers, birdwatchers and astronomers as well as photoshops and distributors was very high and several new distributors were found.

This month we got one of our most prominent orders. 4000 Walkstools including the Nikon-logo were shipped to Nikon in Holland and Japan. These will be used as kit sales together with expensive cameras and binoculars. We feel that it is a good acknowledgement when a high quality brand put their logo on our product.
